Of Lists and Airlines

Well... I'm less than one month out from leaving for Ireland, and I'm trying (quite unsuccessfully) to not be overwhelmed by the sheer enormity of the task I am about to undertake. I've been making lists for days on end... in my head, on pieces of paper laying about, and formalized ones on computers, trying to track on the details to avoid missing anything, and I am perpetually becoming more overwhelmed rather than relieved.

Most importantly, how am I going to fit all my beloved shoes in my suitcase?! See, the troubling thing about suitcases is that there is only so much room in them anyway. If I put in that extra pair of heels, I might have to forgo a sweater. Is it worth being cold to be stylish? You can see my dilemma.

Even so, Airlines are now restricting the weight of said suitcases. Isn't it enough that I don't have room for anything people? Now you're going to keep me from packing my copy of Don Quixote because it might put me at 75.6 lbs, so you can charge me an extra $50 for my bag. I can see what you're doing you sneeky airline people, and I'm not buying it.

I'm working at a way of cheating the system. Perhaps an antigravity machine will be involved. Though that might weigh the bag down even more.
